COVID-19

Travel has changed.  The world has changed.  With travel opening back up, we all must stay informed to make our travels as safely as possible.  

Please follow all regulations of the country you intend to travel to. For US citizens, please visit www.state.gov for important travel regulations and updates regarding your travel destination.

For citizens of other countries, please follow the rules and regulations of the proper governing bodies.  

All staff with Bare Borders Travel, LLC are vaccinated.  To accompany us on our adventures, we require all travelers to follow all CDC advised safety precautions.  We also strongly encourage all travelers to get vaccinated as it is required for most travel destinations.  We reserve the right to ask you not to travel with us if you do not follow all travel precautions.

France

You must show proof of vaccination upon arrival. You also need "a sworn declaration, which you can download from the Interior Ministry’s website stating that you have no symptoms of COVID-19 infection." If you are not vaccinated, "traveller aged 12 and over must present a negative PCR or antigenic test taken less than 72 hours before the flight.If you are traveling from Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Spain, the Netherlands or Portugal, your test must be taken less than 24 hours before the flight."

England

The U.S. is now on the Amber List to enter the U.K. "Before you travel to England you must take a COVID-19 test. You must take the test in the 3 days before you travel to England and

book a quarantine hotel package.

You must complete a passenger locator form on arrival. Once you arrive in England you must quarantine in a managed hotel, and take 2 COVID-19 tests." www.gov.uk

Spain

"U.S. citizens can travel from the United States to Spain on non-essential travel, such as tourism) if they show proof of vaccination. Additionally, travelers from the United States to Spain must present a QR code generated through the Spain Travel Health portal, obtained through the website or by downloading the SpTH app in Google Play or App Store for each traveler. Additionally, travelers must show either proof of vaccination, a negative COVID test, or a certificate of recovery.  www.state.gov

Italy

"Persons travelling from Canada, Japan and the United States of America may enter Italy by presenting a ‘Green Pass’ (or equivalent certificate issued by the local health authorities attesting that they are fully vaccinate with a European Medicines Agency (EMA) validated vaccine), a negative swab test carried out within the previous 72 hours and a Passenger Locator Form."

Morocco

The COVID situation is constantly changing within the Kingdom of Morocco. Travel regulations depend on your purpose of travel. Please visit the U.S. Embassy's website to see if you qualify to travel. The link is below.

UAE

"Dubai and Abu Dhabi governments are issuing tourist visas. U.S. citizens may receive a tourist visa on arrival, typically valid for 30 days."  A COVID PCR test or antigen test is required at least 72 hours prior to travel.  Everyone is required to take a test at the airport upon arrival.

Gibraltar

"Tests are not required for arrivals at the land border from green list countries provided you have not been to any other country 10 days prior to arrival in Gibraltar.  Day Trippers from green and amber list countries are allowed to visit. 

Unvaccinated air travellers will require a pre-flight Covid-19 test before travelling to Gibraltar."

Iceland

"Effective July 27th, 2021, all vaccinated persons and those that can present a certificate of a prior COVID-19 infection must present a negative PCR or antigen (rapid) test that is no more than 72 hours old before departure to Iceland. The new measures will take effect as of July 27, 2021. Unvaccinated individuals will continue to be required to present negative PCR test results no more than 72 hours old and undergo double PCR screening with a five-day quarantine in between."

USA

"All air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens and fully vaccinated people, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 3 days before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months  before they board a flight to the United States."
